Recently Mike raised over £9,000 for charity by running the London Marathon and the Great South Run for Bowel Cancer UK, a charity close to his heart. Mike chose to support Bowel Cancer UK because his father was diagnosed with bowel cancer in June 2004 and, sadly, cancer claimed the lives of two of his grandparents.

Mike raised £582.55 by auctioning his running vest on Ebay from the Great South Run!
